Redmond blocked the Trojans’ final shot in the second overtime… The Red Devils have a five-game win streak in the series with three of those wins in overtime… It was the fifth overtime game among 110 played between the rivals since 1970-71 … Newton-Conover is up 57-53 in that same period … Red Devils head coach Matt Wilkinson is a win away from having 50 at Newton-Conover (49-81, sixth year) and he’s 168-242 in his 17th season; he previously was head coach at Bunker Hill.
