GREENSBORO – Maiden High star pitcher Caden O’brien and two East Lincoln players have been named all-state baseball players for the 2017 season by the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association (NCBCA).
O’brien was coached at Maiden by David Williams and East Lincoln’s picks – Alec Burleson and Nate Kinsch – were coached by Chris Matile.
The NCBCA made 30 all-state picks and seven of them played in the Southern District 7 Athletic 2A or the South Mountain Athletic 2A-3A.
Justin Bullock of South Granville was named the state’s top 2A player for this season.
