EAST-WEST ALL-STARS FOOTBALL: 4 Lenoir-Rhyne signees on West roster for Wednesday’s game

GREENSBORO — A part of the future of Lenoir-Rhyne University football will be on the field on Wednesday night in the East-West All-Star high school football game.

The game — pitting the top seniors from last year in their final prep game — begins at 8 p.m. at Greensboro Grimsley High’s Jamieson Stadium.

Five players from Greater Hickory area conferences made the West roster and four of them signed to play for the Bears.

West Caldwell offensive lineman Dalton Stepps has not yet made a college choice while Alexander Central quarterback Gunnar Anderson, Fred T. Foard linebacker-running back Tate Beaver, West Iredell athlete Bernie Briley and Hibriten linebacker Charles Tassinari are each headed to LRU.
