DENVER, N.C. — East Lincoln High has announced the beginning of fundraising to increase capacity and make its football press box into more of a working press box.
Because of limited spacing and a larger than normal support crew, the current press box often does not have enough seating to accommodate the number of media attending a Mustangs varsity football game.
In previous years, at least three newspapers that follow East Lincoln football agreed to “pool” report the Mustangs’ home games so that only one seat in the press box could be requested. The reporter covering the game would then share the story and information with the other two newspapers.
