HUNTER HARVEY (Class AA Bowie, Md.)
Former Bandys High star Hunter Harvey did not pitch Tuesday night as Bowie won at Erie 7-3.
Bowie plays at Erie on Wednesday night and Harvey has had four days of rest but the Baysox’s have listed their probable starter as TBD.
Harvey made his third – and longest start – in Bowie’s 2-1 loss at Akron last Friday night.
Harvey is 0-0 with an ERA of 1.08, has given up six hits, one run (earned) with three walks and eight strikeouts.
ZACH JARRETT (Class A Delmarva, Md.)
Zach Jarrett is a former Hickory High and Charlotte star for the Shorebirds, who beat Greenville, S.C., 7-1 on Tuesday night in Delmarva.
Jarrett started in left field for the Shorebirds, going 1-for-2 and walking twice.
He is hitting .329 in 22 games with a league-leading seven home runs and 14 RBIs, and he’s hitting .308 in his last 10 games with three home runs, five RBIs but 15 strikeouts.
He is sixth in batting average among South Atlantic League hitters, and the five above him are each hitting at least .333.
HAYDEN DEAL (Class A Rome, Ga.)
Former Bandys High star Hayden Deal is a relief pitcher for the Braves, who defeated visiting Lakewood, N.J., 5-2 on Tuesday.
Deal did not pitch on Tuesday.
He has pitched 6 1/3 innings and in three games this season with an ERA of 2.84 with one walk and seven strikeouts. He’s allowed five hits.
