HICKORY – Because of anticipated winter weather, Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) will start its home basketball games earlier than planned on Saturday.
The Red Hawks’ women face Region X foe Fayetteville at noon – an hour earlier than originally planned – and the CVCC men’s game against Lenoir Community College will also begin an hour earlier (2 p.m.) than first listed.
“By moving these games up, we should have everyone out before any serious weather comes,” CVCC Athletic Director Nick Schroeder said in a press release.
Admission to both games is free.
