COLLEGE BASEBALL: Red Hawks’ Hubbard to play at Mars Hill

MARS HILL – Seth Hubbard, an outfielder-pitcher from Bandys High and Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC), will continue playing college baseball.

The CVCC baseball program and the school’s sports information director congratulated Hubbard on Twitter on Thursday night, saying he will play at Mars Hill University.

Unofficially, Hubbard played in 75 games at Bandys with a career batting average of .335 with seven home runs, 48 RBIs, 14 doubles and 13 triples.

Hubbard graduated from Bandys in 2014.
