HICKORY – Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) announced several baseball schedule changes on Thursday.
The Red Hawks, ranked No. 17 in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) poll, will:
- Added a game against Queens University, set for March 28 at 5 p.m. at the Legion Fairgrounds in Newton.
- Make up a game originally scheduled March 7 against USC Lancaster in Lancaster, S.C., on April 5, playing one nine-inning game.
- Set a game time for Wednesday’s home game against the Lenoir-Rhyne University junior varsity. It will be played at 6 p.m. and will be “Shuford Elementary Night” at Henkel-Alley Field.
