COLLEGE SOFTBALL: CCC&TI adds 4 players to roster of school’s first team (photos)

HUDSON – Caldwell County College and Technical Institute (CCC&TI) has added four players – one of them from East Burke High – for its first women’s softball team.

The Cobras signed Bailey Moore of Concord, Taylor Moody of Hickory, Britney Evett of Greenville, S.C., and Logan McConnell of Denver, N.C.

Scott Triplett will coach the Cobras’ first softball team this season.

Moore pitched last season at Concord Robinson High while Moody was a utility player at East Burke, Evett played at Carolina High and McConnell was an outfielder at East Lincoln.
