COLLEGE TRACK & FIELD: Lincolnton native promoted to head coach at App State

BOONE – Appalachian State has named former Lincolnton High athlete Damion McLean as its new men’s track and field and cross country head coach.

McLean, an App State graduate, has been on the Mountaineers’ coaching staff since 2003. He was promoted after longtime head coach John Weaver retired.
