SHELBY – Henderson, Nev., the Western champion, beat Creighton Prep, Neb., the Central Plains champion, 2-1 on Tuesday night to win the American Legion World Series at Shelby High.Nebraska completed its suspended semifinal game against Randolph County, N.C., on Tuesday afternoon — winning 3-1 — and Nevada won its spot in the title game on Monday night with a 7-3 victory over Bryant, Ark.
