MAIDEN – Maiden Post 240’s Salamanders open their American Legion baseball season on Friday at home, facing Kings Mountain at 7 p.m. at Maiden High.
Post 240’s home games will all be played at Maiden’s on-campus field, and Blue Devils head coach David Williams is also the Salamanders’ head coach.
Maiden has four straight games once it gets underway, playing Lincoln County on Saturday at 7 p.m. at East Lincoln High, at Cherryville on Sunday at 7 p.m. at Cherryville High and Hickory on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Legion Fairgrounds in Newton.
