After three games with the Ducks, who are based in Kinston, Perez was 5-for-12 with an RBI and a batting average of .417. Those three games were all in Winston-Salem.
The Ducks (23-42) open a home series against Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Thursday at 7 p.m. and play the Pelicans on Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. before the all-star break in the Carolina League.
