WOMEN’S COLLEGE TENNIS: Bears’ Janssen wins league’s Player of Week (photo)

Sanne Janssen of Lenoir-Rhyne University was named Monday as the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Player of The Week in women’s tennis. A sophomore from Maastricht, Netherlands, she helped the Bears go 2-0 last week with wins over North Greenville (S.C.) and Emmanuel. Janssen teamed with Emily Burchland for a No. 1 doubles win against North Greenville and won at No. 6 singles against Emmanuel./LRU PHOTO
