GAFFNEY, S.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne University’s men head into their next game on Wednesday still undefeated.

The Bears nipped Limestone 76-75 on Saturday on the road on a last-second jumper by Djibril Diallo, improving to 7-0 and dropping Limestone to 5-1.

Jon Jean led LRU with 17 points, Diallo had 16 and Cory Thomas added 15.

The Bears shot 47.5 percent and the Saints shot 41.3 percent.

Diallo, Jean, Thomas and R.J. Gunn each played more than 40 minutes for LRU.

Jean’s scoring total was a career and season-high and he reached double-digits for the third time this season. Diallo and Thomas have each scored at least 10 points is six of the Bears’ seven games this season.

LRU’s next game is Wednesday at 8 p.m., a South Atlantic Conference battle with Queens.
