LANCASTER, S.C. – Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) swept USC Lancaster on the road on Monday night in women’s volleyball, running its win streak to eight matches.
The Red Hawks won 25-17, 25-22 and 25-18 and they next play on Tuesday night in a home conference match against Guilford Tech that begins at 6 p.m.
Siena Naotala led CVCC (12-6, 6-0 in Region X) with six kills and three blocks, while Sage Harrington added four kills and two blocks.
Defensively, sophomore libero Emily Williams made nine digs for CVCC, and setter Emilee Webber made a team-high 16 assists and four service aces.
