ELGIN, S.C. – Abbey Hartsell of Lenoir-Rhyne University is in the top 15 after two rounds of the NCAA Division II South Super Regional.
In play at The Members Club at Woodcreek, Hartsell had a 5-over par 77 on Tuesday, and she’s at 10-over par 54 heading into Wednesday’s final round and tied for 13th.
The individual leader is Saint Leo’s Marie Coors, who is at 4-over par 148, and the team leader is Barry at 612 (36 over par).
Hartsell is a sophomore and was a golf star at Alexander Central High.
The top three teams and the top three individuals not on one of those teams advance to the Division II championship tournament on May 17-20 at Findlay (Ohio) Country Club.
