NW 3A-4A GIRLS SOCCER: S. Caldwell nips Patton, finishes in fifth place

All of South Caldwell’s seven league wins came by shutout.

MORGANTON – South Caldwell High’s girls beat Patton 3-0 on Friday night on the road, closing out the Northwestern 3A-4A soccer regular season by finishing in fifth place.

The Spartans finished 7-6-1 in the conference with all of their conference wins by shutout. They had beaten Patton 4-0 earlier in the season.

Hickory (12-2-0) won the league and Fred T. Foard (10-3-1) and Watauga (9-2-3) share second with a winning percentage of .750 each.
