LENOIR — Jordan Bowman had two hits and drove in three runs and Nick Kidd allowed only two hits as the West Caldwell High beat visiting Draughn 13-1 in five innings on Wednesday night in a non-conference baseball game.
The Warriors improved to 3-5 overall and 2-3 at home this season.
Kidd went five innings, giving up one run (unearned), walking five and striking out three as West Caldwell improved to 2-3 at home this season.
The Warriors are at home Friday at 6 p.m., facing South Caldwell in a Northwestern 3A-4A game.
Draughn (2-7) will be at home Friday at 6:30 p.m. against Hibriten in a Northwestern Foothills 2A game.
