NEED YOUR HELP: Your feedback will help HobbsDailyReport.com’s second year

CHRIS HOBBS
He’s in his 42nd year of covering sports in the Greater Hickory area and looking for your input as HobbsDailyReport.com begins plans for its second year and, in August, his 43rd consecutive year as a reporter and editor focused on the region’s sports.

HobbsDailyReport.com

As HobbsDailyReport.com nears its first full year providing the top local sports coverage in the Greater Hickory area – loyal readers now have more than 2,000 posts to view – we’re about to take a look at the favorite content and what most interests those of you visiting the FREE website on a daily basis.

We launched on April 12, 2017 and have been building a steady following as an alternative for local sports-minded readers who no longer want to spend money on a daily basis for a print product that’s very often publishing news that is anywhere from two days to a week old.

That’s no fun… and doesn’t provide you the timely and accurate reporting that I’ve provided for more than four decades in the region as a writer or editor at five different places, including more than 14 years covering Piedmont N.C. high schools for The Charlotte Observer.

To that end, help me by bolding the sports you are most interested in seeing at HobbsDailyReport.com, then cut and paste your results and email them to me at hobbsdailyreport@gmail.com. You do not need to include your name unless you’d like to… and I welcome all comments about the website.

From that research, we’ll decide what stays and goes on the website so that your time is well spent and the items you are most interested in are there when you do visit.
