Former Bandys High star Hayden Deal is listed for his next start with the Double-A Mississippi Braves on Thursday night.
The Braves’ game at home against Chattanooga (Tenn.) on Tuesday was rained out.
Deal (0-1, 5.40 ERA) is listed as Mississippi’s starter for a Thursday game at 6:35 EST against Chattanooga. It will be his third start of the season.
The Braves are 4-8 and just started a homestand of a dozen games.
When Deal makes his fourth start will depend on if the Braves use a five- or six-man rotation.
