Bandys High defensive lineman Aaron Johnson signed to play football at Lenoir-Rhyne University, joining two Trojans teammates in that decision. Johnson, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound tight end and defensive lineman, had 23 solo tackles and 18 assists last season as Bandys went 12-2 and won a South Fork 2A title. He averaged 3.4 tackles per game and had nine tackles for lost yardage, highlighted by six tackles against North Lincoln and five against Franklin and West Stokes. Three of his tackles for lost yardage came against West Stokes and two were in a key game at West Lincoln. He also recovered a fumble and caused one this season./BANDYS HIGH PHOTO
