Scheduling for Southern District 7 Athletic 2A tournaments next week was released by league officials on Tuesday.
Although the actual seeds can’t be determined until regular season play ends on Friday, the outline of which seeds play each other and at what time can be set.
The baseball tournament is scheduled to begin next Tuesday with games at higher seeds. The semifinals and finals will be played at the Legion Fairgrounds next Thursday and Friday.
The softball tournament is also scheduled to begin next Tuesday with games at higher seeds. The semifinals and finals are set for Bunker Hill next Thursday and next Friday.
Tournament admission is $6.
Currently: East Lincoln (14-6, 10-2) is the baseball leader and has already clinched at least a share of the title, with West Caldwell the only team left that could share the title with the Mustangs… In softball, East Lincoln (9-2) has a one game lead over West Lincoln (8-3) and, at 8-4 each, Bunker Hill and Maiden share third place.
