HUNTER HARVEY: Pitches 1 1/3 innings in win over Toronto, ERA down to 1.35

Hunter Harvey made his sixth appearance of the season on Friday night as the Baltimore Orioles beat visiting Toronto 9-1 before 13,284.

Harvey was the fourth of five pitchers used by Baltimore (23-46), throwing 1 1/3 innings  to gain a hold. He allowed one hit and struck out one.

He faced three batters and threw strikes on 12 of his 18 pitches.

Harvey, a former Bandys High star, has pitched 6 2/3 innings this season and has four strikeouts.

The series continues Saturday afternoon at 4:05 p.m. in Baltimore, and the teams meet again Sunday afternoon before the Orioles play a three-game series at home against Houston.
