Eight-team field includes all Burke County schools with Wednesday title game

MORGANTON – The third annual Tony Causby Classic baseball tournament opens with four games on Monday at Patton High.
The three-day, eight-team field opens play on Monday at 11:30 a.m. when Freedom plays Chase.
Other games on Monday are: East Burke against R-S Central at 2 p.m.; Bandys against Draughn at 4:30 p.m. and Patton against West Caldwell at 7 p.m.
There are four games on Tuesday, loser’s bracket games at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., and semifinals at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The championship, one of four games on Wednesday, is at 7 p.m.
