WINDERMERE, Fla. – Lenoir-Rhyne University’s women finished in a tie for eighth place at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational on Tuesday.
Led by Chelsea Mansel’s three-round 226, the Bears closed at 916 and Mansel finished 22nd.
Noelle Beijer of Florida Tech won the individual title at 4-under par 230, leading her team to the title with an 868.
LRU senior Abbey Hartsell tied for 32nd by shooting 230, Megan Robb tied for 35th with a 232 with teammate Patricia Asensio having the same score, and Ainee O’Connor shot 235 and tied for 45th for the Bears.
LRU will next play on March 25-26 in the Sunoco Campbell Oil Classic in Pembroke.
