FOXFIRE VILLAGE – Bryce Hull’s 72 on Tuesday, which left him in the top 10, keyed St. Stephens High as it tied for fifth in the state 3A boys’ golf championship tournament.
Hull shot 150 over two rounds at Foxfire Resort, and that left him tied with two other golfers for seventh place.
The Indians and Comets closed at 72-over par 648 to share fifth place.
St. Stephens shot 315 for the second round and its two-day total was 33 strokes back of Marvin Ridge, which edged Burlington Williams by 12 strokes for the team title.
Dawson Walker of Hibriten tied for 15th at 153 after shooting a 70 on Tuesday.
