The Southern District 7 Athletic 2A track and field championships scheduled Monday at Bunker Hill High are delayed on day and semifinal games in the baseball and softball tournaments are being moved up one by day.
Bunker Hill athletic officials have indicated the track meet, set to begin at 2 p.m. on Monday, will now begin at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
Also, the semifinal softball tournament games scheduled at Bunker Hill for Thursday at 5 and 7 p.m. will now be played, at the same times, on Wednesday.
The baseball tournament semifinals — set originally for Thursday at the Legion Fairgrounds — will now be played on Wednesday, athletic officials at Bandys said (the Trojans are coordinating this year’s tournament).
The softball tournament starts Tuesday at higher seeds with West Lincoln at the No. 1 seed and East Lincoln is the top seed for the baseball tournament that begins on Tuesday.
