GREENSBORO — Mason Hawks of North Surry High, who will play college basketball at Lenoir-Rhyne University, will finish his prep career playing for the West in the annual East-West All-Star game in July in Greensboro.
The West roster also includes Quay Kimble of Shelby.
The West boys’ head coach is Brian Franklin of McDowell, a former Titans star.
McDowell will return to the Northwestern 3A-4A in August in a move from statewide realignment.
