HICKORY — Columbia (S.C.) ripped the Hickory Crawdads 11-2 on Sunday at L.P. Frans Stadium, closing Hickory’s seven-game homestand.

Columbia’s Tim Tebow went 0-for-4 with a walk and a run scored.

Hickory was down 7-0 after two innings.

The Crawdads are 9-15 and in last place in the South Atlantic League’s Northern Division, six games back of first-place Hagerstown (Md.).

Hickory opens a seven-game road trip on Tuesday night at the West Virginia Power, playing there through Thursday. A four-game series at Hagerstown begins on Friday and continues through Monday.

The Crawdads’ next homestand begins on May 10 against Charleston S.C. — for three games — and Greensboro comes to town for games on May 13-16.
