HICKORY –Eric Dickerson and Mike Hanlon each scored four goals Saturday as Lenoir-Rhyne University won the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) men’s lacrosse regular season championship.
The Bears nipped visiting Catawba 14-13 for their 12th straight victory. They’ll next compete as the top seed in the quarterfinals of the SAC tournament on Thursday in Charlotte.
LRU improved to 8-0 in the league and 12-1 overall by beating Catawba (8-7, 4-4).
