Hunter Harvey pitched in a major league game for the 25th time on Tuesday night, going one-third of an inning against Houston in a 3-1 loss in Baltimore.

Harvey allowed one hit, walked one and struck out one in the sixth inning when he came on to relieve Jo Lopez before a crowd of 8,510 at Camden Yards.

Baltimore plays Houston again on Wednesday before going on the road for a four-game series at Toronto.

Harvey threw strikes on eight of his 16 pitches and is 0-0 with an ERA of 2.25 in eight games this season. He has pitched eight innings and struck out six.

After 25 games in the bigs, Harvey is 1-2 with an ERA of 2.74, pitching 23 innings and striking out 23.

He has battled injuries throughout his career but could still potentially become the Orioles’ closer.

Harvey’s dad, Bryan, was an all-star pick in both leagues during a career of nearly 10 years. He was a reliever for the then-California Angels and the Florida Marlins, who selected him in the expansion draft.

Hunter Harvey, who was a star at Bandys High, was a first-round draft pick by the Orioles in 2013. He was taken with the 22nd overall pick.
