Chris Hobbs, a past winner of the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association (NCBCA) Media Person of the Year, has been reporting on area prep soccer since the 1980s.
When the season begins, HobbsDailyReport.com will again lead coverage of high school girls’ soccer in the Greater Hickory area, providing results from the South Fork 2A, Northwestern Foothills 2A and Northwestern 3A-4A’s 23 schools.
As we did last season, we’ll provide a weekly and daily schedule of matches from the three conferences, have scores from the matches as soon as they are available each night, post a roundup of match details as provided by the schools and we’ll update conference standings at least a few times each week and more often once conference play begins.
HobbsDailyReport.com is the only local media – print or online – that provides a daily girls’ soccer schedule, standings and the highest volume of match reports on a nightly basis.
We are in the process of reaching out to all 23 head coaches in the conferences to request game reports and highlights.
