JARRETT
Zach Jarrett had a productive Tuesday night, helping Norfolk (Va.) begin a home series with a 4-0 victory over Memphis.
Batting ninth in the Tides order, Jarrett went 2-for-3, scoring a run, driving in a run and collecting a double (10th of the year) and a stolen base (10th of the year).
He is hitting .250 with seven home runs and 28 RBIs this season.
Norfolk continues the six-game series against Memphis on Wednesday night.
The Tides are 33-50 and in sixth place in the Triple-A East Southeast Division, 22 games back of Durham.

Jarrett has been in Triple-A since a promotion from Double-A Bowie (Md.) on May 19, and he has twice been assigned to the Baltimore Orioles during his career (March 2019 and February 2020).
He was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2017 and taken in the 28th round.
The Tides will return to Charlotte for a six-game series from Aug. 17-22.
