Zach Jarrett didn’t have a hit on Sunday when Jacksonville (Fla.) swept a doubleheader over visiting Norfolk (Va.) in Triple-A baseball.
In the first game, the Jumbo Shrimp won 6-4 and Jarrett went 0-for-3 and scored a run. He batted ninth in the order for Norfolk.
Jacksonville won the second game 5-0 with Jarrett again starting in centerfield for the Tides. He batted eighth in the order and went 0-for-2.
He is hitting .245 this season with seven home runs and 27 RBIs.
After an off day on Monday, the Tides start a six-game series at home against Memphis.
Norfolk is 32-50 and in sixth place in the Triple-A East Southeast Division, 22 1/2 games back of Durham.

Jarrett has been in Triple-A since a promotion from Double-A Bowie (Md.) on May 19, and he has twice been assigned to the Baltimore Orioles during his career (March 2019 and February 2020).
He was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2017 and taken in the 28th round.
The Tides will return to Charlotte for a six-game series from Aug. 17-22.
