Hayden Deal’s next start for the Mississippi Braves and his second try to reach 20 pro wins is scheduled on Sunday.
The Braves, who opened a home series with Biloxi (Miss.) on Tuesday, have Deal listed as their starter for a 3:05 p.m. start.
That will be in the final game of a six-game series.
Deal (2-2, 4.00 ERA) last pitched on Sunday against Tennessee.
The start against Biloxi will be his 14th of the season and his is 19-15 since going pro.
A former star at Bandys High, Deal has made 40 pro starts and he has 260 strikeouts in 291 2/3 innings.
