CRAWDADS: Head into off day tied for division lead with Hagerstown

KANNAPOLIS – The Hickory Crawdads were alone in first place for most of Monday afternoon. But they came out of the day again tied for the South Atlantic League (SAL) Northern Division lead.

Hagerstown (Md.) won 8-5 at Kannapolis on Monday night after leading by seven runs at one point to improve to 11-6 in division play. The Suns and Crawdads (12-7) are tied — as they were through Sunday – for first place.

Hickory is off on Tuesday and then begins a series in Asheville on Wednesday night.

Hagerstown is also off on Tuesday before starting a series in Charleston, W. Va., on Wednesday night.
