The Southern District 7 Athletic 2A high school track and field championships, scheduled Monday at Bunker Hill, will begin earlier than originally planned.
Bunker Hill athletic officials have announced the meets will get underway at 2 p.m., rather than at 4:30 p.m. as originally set.
The North Piedmont 3A-4A has its field championships for girls and boys scheduled Monday at Mooresville with a 3:30 p.m. start. The running event finals, also at Mooresville, are scheduled for Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
